Today I saw the summary statement from the F31 review panel, which included the wonderful phrase, “Every aspect of this application is exceptional.” My score is well below the payline, which means the NIH is all but certain to fund my PhD stipend for the next 3 years.
I guess all that hard work finally paid off. I won’t be getting the money for a while yet, but I will be getting it. The next step is (you guessed it) more paperwork. I need to submit “Just in Time” forms listing my lab’s current funding, and a budget plan for the project.
But anyway, this is definitely a time for celebration.
Congratulations! All your hard work paid off. Good luck with the project.
Congrats!
