This aproach to bypassing the egg scarcity problem is clever, especially the idea of using centrifugaton to remove chromosomes from low quality eggs. The fact that you could theoretically screen 100 haploid stem cell lines for around $20k makes the economics surprisingly feasible. I'm wondering about the practical timeframe though, how long does it take to establish these androgentic cell lines before you can sequence them? The limitation to only daughters does seem like a significant tradeoff for now.
